Wu Guanzhong once commented, “the snowy peaks are enshrounded in mist. On a peaceful moonlit night, the scene reminds one of the Suzanne asleep after a bath”. A similar piece created in 1988 is found in Wu Guanzhong’s Personal Selection of Paintings, pl. 2-18.
