Father always got/very cross saying that he couldn"t/understand why we had to take so/much stuff away with us. He didn"t/dare to grumble at Grandma or the/aunts and certainly not at Mr Maitland/or Miss Carter, (who wore pink) so instead./poor Mother had to put up with his/bad temper, but soon we would all/be on the train, and the train would/be speeding on towards Blackpool and/dear Grandpa and the year was 1906."
