Signed, titled and dated to label to verso of each work ‘George Tice and Joanna T. Steichen". Numbered to colophon page ‘45/100". This complete portfolio of twenty-five works is number 45 from the edition of 100 printed by George Tice and published by Prestige Art, Ltd., Mamaroneck, NY.
Works are in good condition. A few of the mounts show compression to one corner, with more notable compression and associated creasing to the lower left corner of the image of Paul Robeson. The portrait of Alfred Stieglitz shows one area of brown accretion on the mount at the lower left edge. The cloth-covered clamshell box, gilt-stamped "Steichen" on the cover, is in good condition. Overall, the photographs and the portfolio case present well. Portfolio measuring 21.5 x 17.25 x 2.5 inches.
