Cassignuel's unique touch of drawing with cheeks and bright coloured eye-shadows and long eyelash filled with elegant and charming ladies. He was raised in a family of haute couture business, and his motif are drawn in fashionable cloths with hats, flower decoration, scarf and so on. The formation of his unique personality of painting was not affected by his birth, growth environment and family, but also the origins of the artistic trends. Cassigneul got the inspiration from Fauvism and Expressionism painting style when he was young. The significant clues can be found from constitutes of his later character modeling, the use of colour and painting language. It is quite vague to see the facial emotions of the ladies whether happy or gloomy, this interesting piece of work give us with a mysterious feeling of the emotions behind the scenes. Here, three magnificent oil paintings executed in 1968, 1969, and 1973 are introduced at this sale - each painting has unique and different style.
