Carla Accardi made the drawing for this embroidery on the burlap base. Giacchini Zatta in Rome, where many other artists, such as Toti Scialoja, Titina Maselli, Giulio Turcato, Renzo Vespignani, Mario Schifano, and Pablo Echaurren created their compositions to the precious art of embroidery
To the artists I propose a relationship of communal creation, I ask to work WITH them and not OVER them, starting with the creation of a sketch specifically designed for OUR tapestry. I drag artists into experimenting with textiles, I bring them into contact with materials, colourings, thicknesses and techniques they have never explored before. Like an actress I interpret the stories that they have written, simultaneously.
