Impressed to base ‘TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 29732". Impressed to tag on shade ‘TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK".
Multi-colored shade in very good condition with a variety of striated, mottled, rippled and granite-texured glass showing the full life-cycle of the peony blossom. The shade has approximately five tight hairlines overall, leading is a dark matte brown throughout with a few areas of old solder repair visible to interior of shade. Base in very good condition with dark brown matte finish and red and black in the recessed areas of the lower portion and green highlights and light oxidation in the recessed upper portions near the socket arms. Sockets are six matching General Electric bodies with GE Co. paddle switches, all functional when tested. Wired with an older cloth cord for American outlets, finished with acid-etched heat cap with subtle bends near finial.
