Description

Joan Mitchell (1925-1992)

Untitled (from the One Cent Life portfolio)

1964

offset lithograph in colors

16⅞ h × 23 w in (43 × 58 cm)

This double-sided example features a work by Joan Mitchell to one side and a work by Walasse Ting to the other side. This work is from the edition of 2000 printed by Maurice Beaudet, Paris and published by E. W. Kornfeld, Bern, Switzerland. One Cent Life was an avant-garde publication that combined written works by Walasse Ting with contributed artworks by Pop and Abstract artists such as Roy Lichtenstein, Jim Dine, Joan Mitchell, Mel Ramos, Sam Francis and Andy Warhol, among others.

Work is in good condition. Very minor creasing, mostly to corners, otherwise, work presents well. Unframed.
