Conceived in 1954 and cast in 1955 by Susse Fondeur. Cast in an edition of 6 during Giacometti"s lifetime, this unnumbered bronze is believed to be the only painted cast, making it unique.
The authenticity of this work has been confirmed by the Comité Giacometti and it is recorded in the Alberto Giacometti database as AGD 1651.
