Signed and numbered to lower edge ‘Francis Bacon 100/200". This work is number 100 from the edition of 200 printed by Alexis Manaranche, Paris and published by the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.
Work is in good condition. Sheet has been trimmed vertically along the upper edge. Minor toning to extreme edges and pale moisture staining in two areas of the left margin, measuring approximately .75 x .5 inches and 5 x 8 inches, visible to recto and verso. A 2.625-inch tear has been repaired within margins of larger stain. Pinpoint accretions to margins, more prominent to upper margin, with two more concentrated areas of light accretion to lower margin below the signature and numbering. Three pinpoints of foxing to right margin. Minor handling creases to right margin with horizontal 5.5-inch crease to left margin. Work presents well with vibrant colors. Unframed.
