The work carried out by Miguel Covarrubias in relation to the promotion of culture both Mexican and the entire American continent is widely recognized internationally. In his work we trace the above mentioned since thanks to what has been captured through various plastic media, anthropological data from pre-Hispanic, indigenous and even Asian cultures have reached us. Throughout his career, Miguel Covarrubias developed as a cultural manager in multiple institutions such as the National Museum of Anthropology and the Museum of Popular Art, in addition to having been director of the Dance Department of the National Institute of Fine Arts, where he also arduously promoted the projection of culture.
