Francisco Toledo"s conception of art did not fit with the system that surrounded the art scene at that time, so he set about creating institutions that would provide reliable support for plastic art production. These spaces continue their work to this day, such as the Institute of Graphic Arts of Oaxaca (IAGO), the Manuel Álvarez Bravo Photography Center, the San Agustín Arts Center (CASA), the Oaxaca International Poster Biennial, in addition to having supported the founding of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Oaxaca.
