This design was used in the Punjab University, General Hospital campus, and various administrative buildings in Chandigarh. These armchairs are composed of solid rosewood, making them much heavier and more substantial than most examples of this form to emerge from Chandigarh.-Michael Jefferson
Very good condition. Wood surfaces have been cleaned and refinished, preserving older wear in keeping with other examples. This item is subject to CITES regulations.
